OnPoint Community Credit Union To Improve Workflow With IMM’s TotaleAtlasSubmitted by allcunews on Wed, 07/16/2008 - 9:33pm.Document Preparation Engine Will Help Credit Union Manage Hundreds of Documents LINDEN, N.J.--(allCUnews)--Integrated Media Management® (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, announced today that OnPoint Community Credit Union has selected its TotaleAtlas document preparation solution. The Portland, Ore.-based credit union has been an IMM customer since 2000 and has chosen to continue working with the company and its proven technology by upgrading its current solution. “During our entire history with IMM, its associates have kept us abreast of the enhancements to the product line,” Grant Gaines, technology manager at OnPoint Community CU, said. “Since we were already using Atlas, the predecessor to browser-based TotaleAtlas, and were very satisfied with its results, it just made sense to upgrade to TotaleAtlas. Additionally the stellar service that we were receiving from the IMM team solidified our decision.” Currently, OnPoint Community CU prints out two copies of loan documents after they are signed by a member - one for the member and one for the credit union. The credit union’s copy of the documents is then sent to the main branch where they are scanned. With the installation of TotaleAtlas, the credit union’s members will be able to sign documents using a digital signature pad and the file is automatically indexed and archived as a 128-Bit encrypted PDF. The new technology will eliminate the labor costs of manually scanning and indexing completed documents and the need to print and ship documents between branches. OnPoint Community CU will also use the TotaleAtlas’ DocQ module, which provides for partially signed documents to be stored in a queue so that the signer or co-signer can complete the document electronically at a different time and/or different branch. “The biggest savings in making this change will be the reduction in costs that come from no longer moving documents between the branches,” Gaines added. “Also, we will only print half of the paper that we were producing prior to installation since files are created and stored electronically.” “OnPoint Community CU serves more than 185,000 members with 11 branches and, as it continues to grow, the electronic management of documents will play a key role in optimizing its business processes,” Chuck Klein, CEO of Integrated Media Management, commented. “They have been a valuable customer for several years, and we are pleased that they have chosen to expand their relationship with us.” About Integrated Media Management Integrated Media Management® (IMM) specializes in document output management and automation technology and is based in Linden, N.J.
