PCM Credit Union Members Receive Year-End Rebate of $534,000
The largest rebate to date with nearly $1,500,000 rebated back to members over the past six years.
Green Bay, WI (Vocus/PRWEB) January 18, 2011
The New Year rang in on a high note for the members of PCM Credit Union, when a member rebate of nearly $534,000 was deposited to their accounts. The rebate included 7.5% of all loan interest paid in 2010, along with a 50% bonus dividend on the amount of interest earned on all Regular Share Accounts.
Dan Wollin, President of PCM Credit Union, explains, “In a year filled with incredible financial challenges causing individuals to lose faith and question what the future may hold, the members of PCM Credit Union continued to do what they have always done. They partnered with us, supported us, and relied upon us to meet their savings and borrowing needs. Because of this, PCMCU had a great year… One that allowed us to make this recent gesture and show our members their credit union is financially successful and the future has never looked better!”
One member’s reaction to the rebate may be true for many when she states, “This has been a very lean year for my husband and I, with little or no overtime and no raises to help compensate the continuously increasing cost of living.” She continues to say, “I cannot tell you how elated and grateful we were to see our PCM Credit Union rebate that was magically deposited to our account on Dec. 31, 2010!”
PCM Credit Union is proud to be one of the few credit unions to offer a member rebate. In fact PCMCU has given back nearly $1,500,000 in member rebates in the past six years. “It is because of our unique, cooperative, credit union spirit that working together we can build a renewed energy, optimism and belief for a successful financial future,“ Wollin adds.
