$4.5B Alliant Credit Union, Latest to Join Credit Union 24 Network

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(www.allCUnews.com)--Credit Union 24, Inc., the only national credit union-owned POS network in the U.S., is pleased to announce that Alliant Credit Union, one of the 10 largest credit unions in the U.S., is the newest member-owner of the Credit Union 24 EFT network, reflecting a recent trend that has seen large, prominent credit unions join the EFT cooperative. In addition to national, credit union-owned point-of-sale and ATM connectivity, Alliant Credit Union’s more than 200,000 members will enjoy surcharge-free access at more than 12,000 Credit Union 24 CU HERE ATMs across the country.

“The Credit Union 24 network presents us with an opportunity to expand our reach for our membership, and to do so within the credit union community,” said David Mooney, president and CEO of $4.5B Alliant Credit Union. “What’s more, Alliant Credit Union and Credit Union 24 are both member-owned cooperatives, so we share the same ideals of economy and control.”

Alliant Credit Union is the 26th credit union to become part of the Credit Union 24 EFT network in 2007 and joins other recent new participants such as $1.6B Tower Federal Credit Union as network shareholders.
