CHICAGO, Sept. 12 (www.allCUnews.com) -- As young adults head back to campus or off on their own this fall, they face a barrage of credit temptations -- from limited income and new-found freedom to their first credit card solicitations and student loans. TransUnion's TrueCredit.com recently commissioned Zoomerang(TM) to survey two distinct groups of consumers about the age-group's debt management skills. Sixty-three percent of parents surveyed say they are "concerned" or "very concerned" about their 18-24 year-old children's ability to manage debt. Perhaps more surprisingly, 54 percent of young adults in this age range also say they are "concerned" or "very concerned" about their own debt management abilities.
